Tamil producer Thandra Ramesh who bought Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s iconic movie ‘Khaidi’ remake rights has announced a couple of days ago to re-make it with a star hero. Speculations started on who will be going to portray the lead role in this remake version. As per a very reliable source, the producer has approached Mega Power Star Ram Charan and the actor is also keen on reprising his father. Harish Shankar who delivered blockbuster this year with ‘Gabbar Singh’ is going to helm the prestigious project.


Tandra Ramesh who is currently making a movie with Gopichand is ready to spend any amount on this newer ‘Khaidi’. Meanwhile, Cherry is presently busy with Nayak, Yevadu and a Bollywood film Zanjeer. On the other hand, Harish is all set to work with NTR for a new untitled film. 

‘Khaidi’ remake is expected to go on floors later in 2013.
