Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee’s brother Raja was arrested yesterday on 14th October 2012 on charges of molesting an aspiring television director when she went to narrate her script.

The ‘Aiyyaa’ girl’s brother reportedly molested the wannabe director in his car when she had gone to meet Raja to narrate a script. ACP Narsingh Sherkhan said, "The woman had gone to show Raja Mukherjee a script. He tried to molest her in the car.” According to the aspiring director, she had approached Raja to cast Rani Mukerjee in her directorial venture.

Rani’s brother Raja was sent for medical tests following the complaint and was taken into custody. However, the accused is not granted bail and has been booked under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.
